An Equivalent Circuit of a Single Phase Induction Motor can be obtained in two ways. Firstly, by Double Revolving Field Theory when only its Main Winding is energized.

How do you draw an equivalent circuit of a single-phase induction motor?

One of the most common types of motors is an induction motor, which uses a rotating magnetic field to produce torque from electric current.

If you want to know how one kind works, it’s easiest if we start by drawing up some equivalent circuit diagrams for our single phase version.

In this diagram here Zf shows forward impedance and Zb represents backward impedance so in case there are 2 slip values then (2-s) replaces backward slip as shown on R1= Resistance 𝟏of stator winding; X1 = Inductive reactance 𝐻⅔π √(L/R).
